Debbie Davis
My style is classic and very personal. I am an Allied ASID Interior Designer. My passion for beautiful fabrics and trims reveals itself in everything from upholstered footstools to billowing draperies. When working with my clients, I create a fresh look that reflects their own personality. Using my clients' existing furnishings gives inspirtation to achieving the feeling and graceful design of the room. I find that eveyone keeps things longer if I keep it simple. I like to paint ceilings a pale blue. The softness of the sky color brings the outside indoors and it feels like it goes on forever. In my professional capacity, I have tackled projects in a variety of settings: An 1800's Dairy Farm turned mansion in South Georgia, fabulous residences, beach homes and mountain homes in Tennessee, Florida, South and North Carolina. When working on a new home project, I start the process with the architect and remain completely involved in every stage until the last picture is hung. In 1986, I opened Southern Accessories and Accents as a full service interior design studio that also houses a fabric, furniture, and accessory design center that is open to the public.
